Sorry, full house!  This seminar is now fully booked.

Comprehensive 2-Day Seminar
(12 Hours Continuing Education to be applied for)

Saturday:  9am - 5pm
Sunday:    9am - 3pm

This seminar will cover current theory, historical development, and useful criteria for successful outcomes when treating a patient with strabismus or amblyopia. Dovetailing this will be practical instruction on vision therapy techniques that integrate the theory with your practice. There will also be an in-depth discussion of lens prescribing for strabismus that will include case studies from Dr. Lewis’s practice. Dr. Lewis will instruct attendees how to do many vision therapy activities for strabismus with simple, inexpensive equipment, most of which costs under $100 and can be carried around in your pocket.

This seminar/workshop format allows for theory, demonstration and hand-on-practice of all techniques discussed. There is ample time for questions and answers and attendees are encouraged to participate in discussion. Attendees will take away lots of clinical pearls to apply immediately to their patients from a renowned teacher in this area of Optometry.

LECTURER: Dr Robin Lewis, OD

Robin Lewis, O.D., FCOVD received his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1981. He is currently the managing partner of a multi-doctor practice in Chandler, Arizona, where he has been in private practice since 1981.

Dr. Lewis, who as a child was a strabismic with learning problems, is a successful vision therapy patient. These experiences lead to his interest in the visual process and a career in optometry. Dr. Lewis is the current treasurer of the Optometric Extension Program Foundation. He serves as adjunct faculty at Pacific University College of Optometry and Southern College of Optometry and as an instructor for the OEP Clinical Curriculum. He spends a major portion of his time teaching, tutoring, and consulting on cases with optometrists throughout the world.
