ACBO Fee Increase

Following major changes to our operations, it has become necessary to raise ACBO's membership fees for the first time in many years.

In the last year we have:
  • moved in to our own office in the Melbourne CBD
  • employed Veronica Kypros, who manages our day to day business and has been a source of a number of beneficial changes to our operations
  • employed Lynne Cazaly, our Journalist who helps us by preparing media releases, the Newsletter, our Journals, and is in the process of rewriting our pamphlets
  • commissioned our wonderful new Website
  • centralised and initiated changes in the Bookshop, including commissioning its online interface
  • commissioned a business review and revision of ACBO Board procedures by business consultant Mark Overton of Ideology Consulting

All in all, it has been a huge year that has seen many changes for ACBO, moving it towards a professional, efficient and exciting organisation that delivers many benefits to its members.

Accordingly, from the 7th of April, ACBO membership fees will increase by 10%, bringing the cost of Australian membership to $499.  All other membership types will increase in line with this.

This price rise will take effect for all new memberships from 1 April 2010, and all renewals for the new subscription year.  We hope you continue to see the rewards & benefits that ACBO membership brings.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Paul Levi
Treasurer
