Description:  The OEPF Clinical Curriculum is a series of 4 courses that offer all optometrists, regardless of their experience in Behavioural Vision Care, an opportunity to discover how they can better serve their patients’ unmet visual needs through alternative lens prescribing & vision therapy.
  1. The Art 'n' Science of Optometric Vision Care
  2. VT1 - Visual Dysfunctions
  3. VT2 - Learning Related Vision Problems
  4. VT3 - Strabismus & Amblyopia
Timeframe:

We generally run 2 of the 4 courses every year, one early in the year and one towards the end of the year.
VT1 is a pre-requisite to other courses and a critical component to do first. Minimum 2 – 3 years to complete core curriculum (depending on when workshops are scheduled).

Workshops: 3 x 5 day workshops
1 x 4 day workshop
Eligibility:  Optometrists, and some components for Therapists.
Where:  Art 'n' Science is generally held in Melbourne. Subsequent workshops are held on the Gold Coast in Queensland
Capacity: 16 delegates
Cost: For members - Approximately $2000 per workshop = $8000 for whole course
CPD points: Approx 70 points per workshop for optometrists
